The coalition has reached an agreement on budgetary rectification. The project will be published today in public debate / when the government wants to adopt it

The leaders of the ruling coalition, from PSD, PNL, USR, UDMR and minorities had a final meeting on budget rectification on Monday morning. They agreed that today the project will be published in decision-making transparency, and later it will be adopted in a government meeting on Wednesday or Thursday, according to the Government spokesman, Ioana Dogioiu.
At the meeting that started on Monday at 10:00 and ended after about two hours, Prime Minister Ilie Bolojan, Sorin Grindeanu, Cseke Attila, Ionuț Moșteanu and Varujan Pambuccian participated.
“The meeting of the coalition on the topic of the rectification has completed, the project will be published today and, depending on the approval, will be adopted by the Government on Wednesday or Thursday,” the press of the government spokesman, Ioana Dogioiu told the press.
CUM is divided the money
The leaders of the coalition discussed on Thursday, before the Government meeting, about the ministries who will receive or will lose money after the budget rectification. According to the Friday form of the project, the Ministry of Investments and European projects will lose 3 billion lei, according to political sources consulted by Hotnews.
In addition, money will receive the Ministry of Labor (2.5 billion lei), transport (2.1 billion), health (250 million), National Health Insurance House (3.5 billion). These amounts are rounded and do not represent the final variant of rectification.
“All that means investments on infrastructure projects and national projects. Plus social things – pensions, salaries, allowances, etc., the total amount that is actually given is 22.8 billion lei, at a deficit target of 8.4%”, say coalition sources for HotNews.
The leaders of the coalition also established that a new budget rectification will be held in November.
The project had to be public on Friday, but the Minister of Finance invoked the need for an “analysis”
The project on budget rectification was scheduled to be made public last Friday, as Prime Minister Bolojan even announced, but the Minister of Finance, Alexandru Nazare, claimed that he had discussed the “updated calendar” with the prime minister, given the need for “analysis and responsible decisions”.
“We discussed with the Prime Minister the updated calendar of the budgetary rectification, following the multiple financing needs and needs addressed to the Ministry of Finance. All requires analysis and responsible decisions, in the context of current budget and deficit pressures. On Monday we will publish the project in public consultation, following the dialogue to continue the next day, The rectification project should be adopted, ”Nazare wrote on Facebook on Friday.
Prime Minister Ilie Bolojan said last Wednesday, in a press conference held in the Government, that “at the latest on Friday morning” the project on budget rectification will be published “in decision-making transparency”.
President Nicușor Dan also commented on the subject, mentioning that the most important discussion in the coalition this week is the one related to the budget rectification.
