In Nazarovo and Borodino, with the support of the Melnichenko and Suek-Krasnoyarsk Foundation, the first Urban Festas took place-bright holidays, uniting sports, creativity and other activity at the venues important for residents.

In Borodino, an unusual festival was held in a skate park, into Nazarovo a new life breathed into an alley of mining glory.

“This is an event for those who want to make the city brighter and livelier. Here, the space becomes a way of interacting with the environment, and creativity helps to look at familiar places in a new way, ”said Alexander Didenko, deputy general director of the Melnichenko Foundation in the direction of Education.

At the venues, there were tennis and chess tournaments, creative master classes on creating key fobs, painting T-shirts, master classes on Breakdance, Bitbox, interesting quests, lectures on urban improvement, Foresight sessions, where the townspeople presented their ideas for organizing events and the development of the urban environment-each participant was able to find their own occupation.

“We are changing our cities with the Melnichenko Foundation,” says Viktor Gubanov, manager of the branch of Suek-Krasnoyarsk JSC. “For us, Nazarovtsev, such events are a real holiday.”

As a gift for Shakhtar's Day in Borodino and Nazarovo, new tennis and chess tables, stylish swings, benches with backlight appeared, and the townspeople made eco -doors and collected racks for the street library. Skate Plaza transformed into Borodino: together with the participants of Urban-fest, it was painted by the artist Stanislav Metelsky-the author of the mural “Craft as a prayer”, who appeared in the city as part of the public-art “shift” festival in early August.

“It is gratifying that a business is always connected to solving the problems of landscaping urban territories,” said Alexander Pervukhin, deputy head of the city of Borodino. “The Foundation of Andrei Melnichenko and Suek-Krasnoyarsk became reliable partners in resolving issues on the development of our wonderful city, to create comfortable living conditions.”

For almost 25 years of history, coal miners are constantly engaged in the development of mining cities, directing funds to the implementation of socially significant projects, attracting funds on the territory of responsibility. So, only within the framework of the All-Russian competition of the best projects for creating a comfortable urban environment, with the support of the Melnichenko and Suek-Krasnoyarsk Foundation in the last five years in Borodino, Nazarovo and Sharypovo, 4 large-scale projects for a total of over 300 million rubles have been implemented. Another 300 million city received this year to create new modern public spaces.

In addition, three more landscaping projects are now under consideration by the jury of the All -Russian competition, the results will be known tomorrow, August 21.
