Excellent skiing conditions at Sinaia, de Florii, say mountain rescuers. But they have a warning for tourists: “Be careful!”

Salvamont Sinaia says that there are excellent skiing conditions on the slopes of the resort, and Palm Sunday is expected to be one with good weather. Mountain rescuers advise tourists not to go outside the slopes, because they risk getting injured due to the watery snow.
Salvamont Sinaia representatives say that on the slopes of Valea Dorului, Valea Soarelui and Călugăr, the snow is “excellent, and Sunday is expected to be a fine day”, after Saturday, visibility was poor until the afternoon. At 2000 meters altitude in Bucegi there was fog, and some cable transport installations either did not start or started late.
In a message posted Saturday evening on Facebook, Salvamont Sinaia draws the attention of skiers not to go outside the slopes, because they risk getting injured: “Outside the slopes, very heavy and watery snow. Be careful in the afternoon hours on the eastern slopes, where the snow has been “baking” all day and risks breaking. And it breaks with a very heavy and watery snow, without sliding and without lift, which turns into cement around the legs and skis if it started to flow. Great attention!”.
Those who want to go hiking on the mountain are advised to have snow guards.
