I visited 90 countries. Here are five places that delighted me

During my trips I was lucky to visit really beautiful places. From the second largest canyon in the world to the object inscribed on the UNESCO World Heritage List – here are the five most beautiful places where I was.

Valle d'Asta is one of the most underrated regions of Italy

Valle d'Aosta, the smallest and the weakest populated region of Italy, took my breath away when I visited him in September 2024.

Located in the northwestern corner of the country, the region borders with Switzerland and France, and the majestic mountain background creates Mont Blanc, which extends to three countries.

I recommend staying in the capital, aoś. The “small Rome of the Alps”, where not only Mont Blanc is worth seeing – Aosta is full of historical ruins, such as Portoria and Criptoportico Forens.

In January 2019 I went to New Zealand and rented a motorhome for a journey from Queenstown to Aoraki/Mount Cook.

My first stop was Wānak, where I was running around the flower fields and tried local honey in Wānak Lavender Farm.

I also conquered Roys Peak – a peak with a height of 1578 m, where on the way I passed a lot of sheep, until I reached the panoramic views of the town.

Every morning I drank coffee at Lake Wānaka and admired a lonely willow growing in water. As a resident of New York, I was really happy that I could lose myself so much in nature.

When I visited Buenos Aires in January 2023, I decided to go by ferry to Colonia del Sacramento in Uruguay on a one -day trip.

The town is full of white, stone and pastel buildings, many of which are decorated with flowers. Together, they contrasted beautifully with cobbled streets.

The historical district of Colonia del Sacramento is also an object inscribed on the UNESCO World Heritage List. You can go to the Bastion of San Miguel to see the sea view, or visit Ruinas del Convento de San Francisco – the only remains of the monastery built in the 1990s.

During the next international journey I visited Fish River Canyon in Namibia, which is the largest canyon in Africa and the second largest in the world after the great Colorado Canyon.

When I arrived there on a hot day in April 2024, there were only a handful tourists. Looking at the huge, colorful gorge was an experience that I will never forget. It was extremely quiet, and I sat on the edge, absorbing the whole scenery.

In March 2019, I was able to get a flight from Seoul to the island of Czejż in South Korea.

One of my first stops was Oedolgae, a unique rock formation, which, as you believe, was created as a result of the eruption of the volcano. Going there from the hostel, I passed numerous waterfalls and saw the first signs of blooming cherries.

When I arrived, I watched the waves crashing about Oedolgae and other huge volcanic rocks growing from the bottom of the ocean.
