PKO BP in a new formula in two countries. “We conduct advanced works”


The largest Polish Bank PKO BP does not stop at development in our country. As part of the current strategy by 2027, it intends to increase its presence on another 8 European markets. The expansion will be implemented both through corporate troops, as well as in the new formula – representative offices.
“We are currently conducting advanced work on opening the first representative offices that will start operating in the next few months. They will be offices in Sweden and Lithuania “ – he informed Marek Radzikowski, vice president of PKO BP supervising the area of international banking.
He added that Lithuania is a natural direction of expansion for the bank – many companies with Polish capital operate there, and the country invests intensively in green energy and infrastructure. In turn, Sweden is a market where Polish companies are also more and more active.

“Our role is to support them in expansion, provide financing and facilitate cross -border settlements. Thanks to this, we not only help build a green economy, but also strengthen the position of Polish banking as a reliable partner in key infrastructure investments in the region, “pointed out the vice president of PKO BP.

Information about the bank's expansion plans appeared on the occasion of the anniversary. The first foreign branch of PKO Bank Polski in Frankfurt am Main celebrates the 10th anniversary.
“At that time, thanks to the branch, we gave our clients financing with a total value of PLN 6 billion” – we read in the communiqué.
