In Russia, new rules for waste management / News of the Society of Krasnoyarsk and the Krasnoyarsk Territory / Newslab.ru entered into force

On September 1, 2025, new rules for municipal waste management (MSW), approved by Decree of the Government of the Russian Federation No. 293 of 07.03.2025, entered into force in Russia.
According to the new rule, a direct ban on the warehousing of waste formed when caring for wood-shrub plantings on container sites is introduced.
Now the branches, fallen foliage, mowed grass of tops and other plant waste is prohibited from leaving on container sites.
The obligation to maintain container sites remained unchanged, as before, the owner of the container site is responsible for this.
