PGE in Żarnowiec began the construction of a 263 MW battery energy warehouse and a capacity of 900 MWh, the Ministry of Climate and Environment said in a press release. The first nuclear power plant planned in Poland was to stand there during the PRL, and there will be a giant energy storage. The ministry added that this investment will be the largest battery electricity warehouse in the country.
