As Infor.pl reminds, these two cards can help you get discounts on purchases in large retail chains, local stores, as well as on medical services and tickets to cinemas and theaters.

The Large Family Card is a nationwide system of discounts available to parents who have or support at least three children – regardless of their age or place of residence.
In turn, the National Senior Card is available to all people over 60 years of age. Both cards open the door to a wide range of discounts in stores, service points and cultural institutions.
Seniors can save on Christmas shopping. Two documents are enough
As Infor.pl reminds, holders of the Large Family Card can count on discounts in the largest retail chains, such as Auchan, Lidl, Carrefour, Kaufland and Orlen.
Discounts include, among others: cheaper groceries (up to 10%), discounts on fuel, train tickets (37% for single and 49% for monthly), as well as discounts on clothing, footwear and sports services.
The National Senior Card is an opportunity to save money at smaller, local points. Seniors can benefit from discounts from 5%. up to 30 percent for purchases in bakeries, confectioneries, cafes, as well as for medical and rehabilitation services and tickets to theaters and museums. The program covers almost 3,000 partners throughout Poland.

An application for a Large Family Card can be submitted at the municipal office or online via the Emp@tia platform. Card issuance takes from 3 to 14 days, and its electronic version is free of charge. The plastic card may incur a small fee, depending on the municipality.

You can obtain the National Senior Card by completing the form at glosseniora.pl or at the commune office if it has joined the program. Card issuance usually takes up to 7 days, although before the holidays the waiting time may be longer. In partner communes the card is free of charge, outside them a membership fee may be required.
