The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of France expressed its support for Romania on Tuesday after the incident last Saturday, when a Russian drone violated the airspace of our country, shows a statement published on the institution's website.
“The incursion of a Russian drone into the Romanian airspace on Saturday, September 13, is a new evidence of the irresponsible and inadmissible attitude of Russia in the development of its war against Ukraine. This incident is not isolated from the beginning of the War of Ukraine and intervenes after the incursion,”
“France reaffirms its support for Romania and expresses its full solidarity with it,” continues the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Paris, mentioning the “active contribution” of the French to the Security of Romania by participating as a “framework” at the NATO multinational battalion on the Romanian territory.
“In the face of this unacceptable attitude from Russia, the Allies continue to strengthen their anti -aircraft defense. A new anti -aircraft supervision and defense mission (Enhanced Vigilance Activity (Eva) Eastern Sentry) was launched for this purpose on Friday, September 12,” says French diplomacy.
“France is fully participating in it and has announced in particular the sending of three bursts for participating in this effort to strengthen the eastern flank of the Alliance,” says the ministry.
