If this happened in Ukraine, it would be regarded as a 100 percent success

A few days after the “check” in Poland about the appearance of Russian drone in its airspace, Romania announced.

Sikorsky noted that the UAVs flying to Poland were able to transport ammunition, but were not loaded with explosives. He believes that Russia wanted to test Poland and the country was able to repulse. The head of the Polish Foreign Ministry rejected the assumption that the Polish air defense was not ready for the invasion. At the same time, the publication drew attention to the fact that some of the drones flew hundreds of kilometers deep into the Polish territory and that, according to some reports, only three or four of about 19 drones launched by the Russian Federation in Poland (according to the latest data, 21 Russian BPLs flew into Poland).

Sikorsky in an interview with reporters emphasized that drones did not reach their goals and caused only minor damage to the property of the Poles, no one was injured. According to him, “if this happened in Ukraine, according to Ukrainian definitions, this would be regarded as a 100 percent success.”

The minister also emphasized that Poland’s answer would be “much tougher” if the invasion of Russian UAVs led to injuries or deaths on its territory. What kind of response is being discussed, he refused to clarify, noting only that “with the aggressor and such a liar as [нелегитимный президент России Владимир] Putin, only the most stringent methods work. “

After the incident with the Russian drones, Sikorsky and Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk objected that they could accidentally fly to Poland, which was not excluded by US President Donald Trump.
