
On December 23, the author of the Ukrainian culinary YouTube channel “Culinary Recipes from Nadia” told how to prepare tongue salad with mushrooms for the holidays.
The food blogger noted that the salad according to this recipe is tender, satisfying and tasty.
“I prepare this salad with tongue and mushrooms for almost all holidays. They are simple, but they look festive and everyone likes them,” the author of the video assured.
Products
- 2 pcs. boiled pork tongue;
- 350 g champignons;
- 2 pcs. boiled potatoes;
- 4 boiled eggs;
- 200 g lightly salted cucumbers;
- 150 g blue onion;
- 180 g mayonnaise;
- 1 processed cheese;
- 2 cloves of garlic;
- dill;
- 40 g ghee;
- salt and pepper – to taste.
Preparation
- Cut the mushrooms into cubes and fry in a frying pan. Finally add ghee. Season with salt and pepper. Transfer to a plate.
- Chop the onion, add 2 tsp. sugar, 1 tsp. salt and 1 tbsp. l. vinegar. Leave to marinate for a few minutes.
- Prepare a fragrant and delicate sauce. To do this, chop the cucumbers, add mayonnaise and chopped dill, garlic, and pepper. Stir.
- Form a salad. Grate the potatoes and place on the bottom of the dish. Brush the first layer with sauce.
- Slice the tongue and place it on top of the potatoes. Brush with sauce.
- Place mushrooms and pickled onions on top. Lubricate with mayonnaise.
- Grate the eggs and place on the onion. Lubricate with mayonnaise.
- Place the salad in the refrigerator for a couple of hours.
- Garnish the salad with grated processed cheese and sprigs of dill.
