The match in Arad had two distinct parts. In the first half hour the Pitesti were devastating and, after Cio Martins opened the score in the 7th minute, Ionuţ Rădescu managed to double the advantage of the guests with his goal from the 19th minute. Ricardo Matos did 3-0 in the 28th minute and the game seemed already played, reports News.ro.
But Mihalcea made an inspired double change, in the 33rd minute, and one of the two new entries, David Barbu, reduced two minutes later. And Marius Coman scored in the 45th minute, reducing the gap.
The second half did not have the same rhythm, but Coman missed the hosts, in the 60th minute, and David Lazar noted, in the 65th minute, at the double occasion of Hrezdac and Pospelov. A minute later Hrezdac was made in the square by Yanis Pîrvu and the referee Horaţiu Fenic dictated criminal, confirmed by lime. Valentin Costache equalized from the point with Var, in the 68th minute, and UTA was successful from 0-3.
The Pitesti remained in ten of the 82nd minute, when Ricardo Matos received a direct red card, after hitting Pospelov with the elbow in front. However, the Aradians could not undo the Pitesti lock and UTA Arad-FC Argeş ended 3-3.
