PSD interim president Sorin Grindeanu criticized, on Wednesday, at Romania TVto Prime Minister Ilie Bolojan, after the Liberal threatened with resignation if the RCC will reject the measures in package 2.
Sorin Grindeanu said that it does not seem a healthy approach, and could even be considered an interference in the act of justice, a pressure placed on the CCR.
“This issue with the waving of resignation I do not consider it serious, not a job to say at any meeting of the coalition. The resignation does not have to be a political blackmail. This pressure you put on the CCR is not necessarily constructive. There are nine judges who will make the decision according to how constitutional”.

The PSD leader also spoke about the introduction of reparative measures for those who were cut income through the package 1 of fiscal measures, which were refused.
“It was a moment that I personally passed very hard. I wanted to propose the exit from the government. I said we would try not to be the triggers of a crisis. Someone will never convince me that the political prisoners, the war veterans – who are still 416 – do not deserve support. I tried to convince the colleagues from the PNL.
According to the Social Democrat, the ruling coalition should change the “perspective”.
“This coalition must look at things from this perspective: the period in which we only talked about cutting should end and deal with something else. Any normal man at the head does not want a recession, he wants investments, he wants economic growth and higher revenues to the state budget,” added Grindeanu.
The meeting of the leaders in the coalition
The leaders of the PSD, PNL, USR and UDMR met at the Victoria Palace on Wednesday. They talked about joining the OECD and PNRR which, according to Hotnews, will depend on the future EcoFin Council.
The subject of the reform of the local administration as it was initially transported was not opened, but it was discussed about the “Anghel Saligny” investment program.
It is the first meeting of the leaders after they were convened by President Nicușor Dan in a meeting in which the head of state asked them to no longer attack and complete the reform of the local administration until September 15.
Next, there are no consensus on the cuttings of the city halls and councils. The PSD claims that the expenses should be reduced, leaving the mayors to decide where they will cut the budget. On the other hand, Prime Minister Bolojan asks for a 10% discount on occupied positions, ie the dismissal of 13,000 employees.
At the last meeting of the coalition in which the cuttings from the town halls and county councils were discussed, Ilie Bolojan threatened with resignation.
