President Nicușor Dan told B1 TV on Thursday, about the 40% gold in the last opinion poll, that he does not think it is a “great love” for the party, but rather a “deep disappointment” to the current leadership of the country, writes News.ro.

“It shows that those 40% of Romanians are exasperated. I do not think they show great love for some politicians who run that party, but show a deep disappointment and a lack of hope of how those who are now in power can lead and direct Romania,” said the President of Romania.

He added that it is his duty and the ruling coalition to show these 40% of people that we “work for Romanians”.

About the alternatives to the current coalition, Nicuşor Dan said that they were theoretically, there were also minority governments, or only with three of these four parties, but the current version is “the most suitable”.

“I think this is the most suitable formula for the moment we live, guaranteeing stability with our partners,” added Dan.
