President Nicușor Dan said on Wednesday night that he does not yet have a “clear image” of what happened in November last year, when the first round of the presidential elections was canceled.

“In the interval that has been elapsed since then it seems to me not only in Romania, but at European level, the fact that there is a hybrid war of Russia, which means cyber attacks on the one hand, on the other hand massive misinformation campaigns, becomes more and more obvious. Speaking of influences of entire campaign of misinformation and weakening of democracy, which Russia does in each of these European countries, ”said the head of state, in an interview with TVR, according to Agerpres.

The president said that when there is clarity about this subject he will inform the public.

“At this moment I cannot say that I have a clear image compared to what happened in November. Of course there are some investigations of the Prosecutor's Office. It takes time. In a reasonable time, I will go out public, as I promised, to make an image of the November event included in the general perspective of the Russian war,”
