A person injured in the explosion in the block on Calea Rahovei in Bucharest, who has extensive burns and multiple traumas, is in critical condition and intubated, is currently being transported to a clinic in Austria, announced the Department for Emergency Situations.
“Thus, as a result of the request sent by the medical team of the University Hospital, the Department for Emergency Situations (DSU), in close collaboration with the Ministry of Health, is currently organizing the transfer of the patient to a hospital in Austria, where an available place for specialized treatment has been identified. The transport is carried out by the IGAv SMURD plane, the patient being constantly monitored by the medical team for the duration travel”, DSU transmitted.
It is about one of the six patients who were admitted to the Bucharest Emergency University Hospital. A 53-year-old patient who has severe burns and is intubated. The authorities had previously announced that in his case an official request was made to transfer him to a specialized medical unit abroad
Three people died and 15 others were injured in the explosion that took place on Friday in a Bucharest block in the Rahova neighborhood.
