The officials of Sparta Prague made the announcement through social networks, along with a photo with the face of the Romanian international.

“I have not yet revealed the goalkeeper of Wilfried Bony. He played in 110 matches in our team's shirt and won the Czech Cup: Florin Niță will stay in the gate!”wrote Sparta Prague on Instagram.

Today, from 4:00 pm, on the “Letna” stadium, the goodbye match of Wilfried Bony, former striker of Sparta between 2008 and 2011, is played.

Bony will play with former career colleagues, and the opponent will be the “Team of Sparta Legends”, composed of important footballers of the Czech club. Among those who will evolve in Bony's team are the Romanian goalkeeper.

The posting was meant to be only a statement confirming the presence of the Romanian international, within the demonstrative party to be held in the Czech capital.

Officers of the Romanian Football Federation have interpreted the post as an official announcement of the movement of the goalkeeper, which is currently free of contract after the separation of damac.

FRF appreciated the photo with the Romanian and hated it “much success” for the alleged commitment with Sparta Prague. The posting was half an hour later.

Passed through the locker room of Sparta Prague in 2018

Florin Niță reached Sparta Prague in early 2018, the transfer being 1.35 million euros. He defended for the team from the Czech capital by 2023, when he was sent in the form of a loan to Pardubic.

After a few months he returned to Sparta, but in the autumn he left for Turkey, Gaziantep. The Romanian goalkeeper, chosen “footballer of the year” by the Sports Gazette in 2021, has the Czech Cup (2020) and the champion title with Sparta (2023), even though he only played half a season. Currently, he is without a team.
