The prosecutor called the desired punishment for the father who died from poisoning children in the red hill of the Krasnoyarsk Territory

In the Nazarovsky City Court, court debate was held in a criminal case against the father of the fourth children of 6, 9, 11 and 13 years old from the village of Krasnaya Sopka of the Krasnoyarsk Territory as a result of insecticides. The prosecutor charged the man of causing death by negligence to four persons and requested him punishment in the form of a conditional term.

Recall that the tragedy occurred in September 2024. It was established that the 34-year-old head of the family processed his house with an anti-insect to combat insects, but neglected the instructions for use and precautions, exceeded the rate of expenditure calculated by the manufacturer depending on the area of the room. The components of the aerosol fell on food, dishes, furniture and bedding. After that, the man did not follow the manufacturer's recommendations on ventilation of the room with a through air flow and wet cleaning of surfaces and allowed young children inside, including eating and an overnight stay in the house. The next day, all family members felt a sharp deterioration in the state of health with signs of intestinal disorder and were hospitalized. Despite the medical care provided, it was not possible to save the children – they died in turn in hospitals.
The commission forensic examination found that the cause of their death was acute poisoning by the destructive poison (insecticides) of systemic action.
At the hearing, the father refused to express his attitude to the deed. And during the investigation, he explained the following:
“I really did not leave the house for ventilation for the whole night, the children entered it, because the smell of Dichlophos was not felt.”
During the debate, the prosecutor listed and analyzed the evidence on which the prosecution was based, evaluated the arguments of the defense to the arguments, brought the circumstances mitigating and aggravating punishment, announced the characterization of the personality of the defendant and asked for the court sentenced him to 2 years in prison with a trial period of 2 years.
“The totality of evidence presented in the case: the testimonies of witnesses and experts, the results of examinations and studies indicate Vinogradov’s guilt. The defense of the insolvency of the examination refutes the commission medical and chemical conclusions. I ask you to take into account the severity of the consequences and the active contribution of the defendant by the disclosure and investigation of the crime, to find him guilty of committing a crime under Part 3 of Art. 109 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation, ”said the Nazarovsky inter -district prosecutor Vladislav Bespalov in court.
