A Krasnoyarsk resident was convicted of a series of thefts and robberies (video)

A 33-year-old resident of Krasnoyarsk was sentenced to 4 years in prison for a series of property crimes.

As the police said, the previously convicted attacker operated from June 2024 to January 2025:

“He'sstole bicycles from entrances, playgrounds, parking lots near the house and from stores. In some cases, he did this openly, and when his actions were noticed by other people, he declared that the bicycle was his relative’s, who allowed him to use it. The man also approached people on the street and asked to give him a phone to call, but when he received a refusal, he snatched the property from the victim’s pocket or from the hands. In total, the Krasnoyarsk resident stole 10 bicycles and two cell phones. In addition, his involvement in the theft of expensive trout from the store was established.”

The total amount of material damage caused to the victims amounted to 202 thousand rubles. The man reimbursed part of it during the investigation.

Serve the sentence under Parts 1, 2 of Art. 158 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation “Theft” and 161 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation “Robbery”, the convicted person will be in a maximum security correctional colony. The verdict came into force.
