Starmer emphasized that Russian leader Vladimir Putin cannot be trusted, who is still delaying the start of peace conversations and at the same time conducts attacks on Ukraine. The prime minister reminded about the attack on Kiev from August 28, as a result of which the British Council and the EU office was destroyed. 25 people were killed then and 53 were injured.

He added that everyone “accepts this form of Poland's presence.

Tusk also reported that the second part of the meeting in Paris, in which the leaders had a telephone conversation with the US President Donald Trump, during which “the way Putin could be made to take a conversation”, because – as he added – no one hid that everyone was disappointed with a lack of effects.?

– Despite the efforts of European countries and the President of the United States, despite the meeting at Alaska, later this meeting in Washington, it all shows that Europe is determined and so really solidarity and united, that President Trump wants to end the war, it results from his many declarations – the prime minister said.
