The legendary tennis player Bjorn Borg (69 years old) suffers from prostate cancer, according to a disclosure in his autobiographical book “Heart beats”, which will be launched on September 18.

The Mirror writes that the legendary tennis player has kept secret so far that he is facing this disease, but information from his native country, Sweden, shows that Borg mentioned in his book about the disease he faces.

Bjorn Borg wrote his autobiographical book with his wife, Patricia. It will be put up for sale in the United States, the United Kingdom, Australia, New Zealand, South America, the Netherlands, Italy, and in its native country, Sweden.

The launch of the book was secretly enveloped, and the Swedish publication Expresssen reports that the volume will not be sent to the review before before the official appearance. It is also said that Bjorn Borg intends to be “extremely reserved” regarding the promotion interviews.

However, the early launch of the book in Italy, Amazon and other sites, led to the appearance in the public space of Borg's cancer diagnosis.

Bjorn Borg dominated tennis in the 1970s, winning five titles at Wimbledon and six at Roland Garros, thus becoming one of the most beloved and emblematic players in the history of white sport.

The Swedish was the World leader in ATP for 109 weeks. Borg participated only once at the Australian Open in 1974, where he reached round 3.

At Roland Garros, Borg was imposed in 1974, 1975, 1978, 1989, 1980 and 1981, and at Wimbledon Swedish won the title in 1976, 1977, 1978, 1979, 1980.

Instead, the Swedish reached 4 times in the final of the US Open, 1976, 1978, 1980 and 1981, but never prevailed at Flushing Meadows.

Borg withdrew in 1982, but tried to return to the ATP circuit in 1991-1993, without managing to win any match all this time.
