Ukrainian President Volodimir Zelenski, received on Wednesday night by his French counterpart Emmanuel Macron, said he has not yet seen “signs” to indicate that Russia at least considering to put an end to the invasion on its country, launched in 2022, writes AFP.
“Unfortunately, we have not yet seen signs from Russia showing that they (the Russians) want to end the war,” Zelenski said in front of the press, and he declared himself convinced that Europe and the United States will help Kiev “increase the pressure on Russia to advance to a diplomatic solution.”

For his part, French President Emmanuel Macron said on Wednesday night, receiving Elysée Palace on his Ukrainian counterpart, that Europeans are “ready to provide security guarantees for Ukraine and Ukrainians, on the day of peace will be signed” and at the end of a long period of training.
“Europe is here, for the first time with this level of commitment and intensity,” the French president said in front of the press. “Now the problem is to know the sincerity of Russia and its successive commitments when it proposed peace,” Macron added the day before the “Volunteer Coalition” sum – whose members are ready to provide security guarantees for Ukraine – and a conversation that they are about to have Donald Trump.

The “Coalition of Volunteers” consists of 31 countries, mainly European, including Romania, who have promised Ukraine against the Russian aggression and which is co-foreshadowed by the leaders of France, Emmanuel Macron, and the United Kingdom, Keir Starmer.
The declared objective of the initiative is to facilitate the peace negotiation attempts between Kiev and Moscow launched by the US in February this year, through a contribution to sufficiently solid security guarantees for Ukraine to ensure the durability of a potential cease and a peace agreement.
Thus, the countries gathered in the “Volunteers' Coalition” have declared themselves willing to support the Ukrainian army and even send soldiers to Ukraine once an armistice with Moscow is completed to discourage Russia from any new aggression.
