“Let's renounce the PSD-ism that has contaminated us against our will”, says Ciprian Ciucu. Objective for the PNL opposition period

The first vice-president of the PNL, Ciprian Ciucu, stated that the PNL is willing to take the right path that offers it the premises from the opposition to reform. He specified that the liberals must renounce PSD-ism, which has contaminated them in recent years, with the will of the PNL, informs News.ro.
“We have seen that our party is willing to take the right path, which will give us the premises from the opposition to reform ourselves, that among us the best leaders, competent, honest, committed, should stand out. Let us renounce PSD-ism, which has contaminated us in recent years, with our will, it is true, with our will. No one has forced us. But if we do not verbalize and if we do not say these things directly, it means that we do not recognize them and it means that we will be willing to make the same mistakes”, declared Ciprian Ciucu on Sunday.
He specified that in this period propaganda is less important, but it is important to provide results to the citizens.
“Propaganda has its limits. What matters is to deliver. What matters is to hold your meetings on time, to deliver projects on time, to take on difficult projects, which are not always the most popular because they bring discomfort, but to do them, finish them on time and improve people's lives. This is what I proposed from the position of mayor general. First of all, let's not be ashamed, but the opposite,” said Ciprian Tassel
Speaking at an event celebrating the 151st anniversary of the founding of the party, he appreciated that the merits of the liberals of the past are not the merits of the current members of the PNL.
“The fact that we have a memory to defend makes us take those decisions that are correct (…) The Social Democratic Party does not have many social democrats to refer to. The new parties do not have such a thing. But I would like to say and emphasize one more thing. The merits of the liberals before us are not our merits. That is, we should not have the arrogance to assume their merits, because they are the merits of that generation”, concluded the liberal.
