Dan Barna was re-elected as vice-president of the party of European liberals, ALDE

MEP Dan Barna was re-elected, on Saturday, with the largest number of votes, in the position of vice-president of ALDE, informs Agerpres.
“Thank you to my liberal friends for re-election to the position of vice-president of the ALDE Party – Liberals and Democrats for Europe! This reconfirmation honors me and I will fight for our mission towards liberal values and citizens, for democracy and the rule of law throughout the European Union and its neighborhood. I will continue my mission with the team in the ALDEParty management office,” said Dan Barna in a post on facebook.
At the same time, he thanked his colleagues from USR for being by his side. The delegation was led by the president of USR, Dominic Fritz, and was formed by USR ministers Oana Ţoiu, Diana Buzoianu, Ionuţ Moşteanu, Radu Miruţă, parliamentarians Ştefan Pălărie, Iulian Bulai, Oana Murariu, Allen Coliban, Cynthia Păun, Corina Atanasiu, Cristian Ghinea, local councilors Diana Mureşan, Lavinia Udrea, USR spokesperson, Cristian Seidler, Alina Gîrbea and Roxana Vîlcu, co-founder of “Women in Politics”.
“USR is the voice of modern Romania in the family of European liberals”, emphasizes Dan Barna in his post.
Dan Barna was first elected as ALDE vice-president in May 2023, in a congress held in Stockholm.
At the level of the European Parliament, ALDE is represented by the Renew Europe group.
