The First Deputy Governor of the Krasnoyarsk Territory, Sergei Ponomarenko, criticized the Directorate of the Krasnoyarsk Pillars for a message about the closure of toilets, which was explained by the fact that the national park has not received a subsidy from the regional budget this year.

If desired and some zeal, ”Sergey Ponomarenko explained.
He added that the allocation of subsidies is a unique practice. Money was allocated from the regional budget for many years to compensate the Federal National Park of Underground funds so that the residents of the region could not pay for the entrance. The region allocated not only the subsidy, but also helped equip the territory, for example, the eastern entrance to the national park was put in order for regional money.
Last year, the subsidy amounted to 25 million rubles, this year, by decision of the governor, it was increased to 30 million rubles.
“Funds can be aimed at a wide list of the needs of the park – from the improvement of the territory and the arrangement of tourist infrastructure to events and environmental actions. Part of the funds are already transferred this year, the rest will arrive before the end of the year. And suddenly such an unexpected post from the Directorate of the National Park. I hope that this annoying misunderstanding and leadership of the national park will find the opportunity to correctly place accents and not transfer from the sore head to a healthy one, ”said the first deputy governor.
Sergei Ponomarenko tied the dismantling of street free toilets with the fact that paid were nearby.
“It may be the reason that not so long ago, by the decision of the director of the national park, a paid entrance to warm toilets in the park with a considerable price tag was introduced – 50 rubles. And the reason for dismantling is precisely this. At the same time, I draw attention to the fact that at the regional tourist facilities (Gremyachiya mane, Yudinskaya Valley, Torgashinskaya staircase, eastern pillars) the entrance to the toilets is free for visitors, ”said the first deputy governor.
