In 2027, it is planned to open next to the Krasnoyarsk Regional Museum of Local Lore on Dubrovinsky Street park with a cave of ancient people. The project is dedicated to the 400th anniversary of the city.
The director of the institution, Valentina Yaroshevskaya, told TASS about this: “This is the first time we will launch such a project. A museum square will appear near our building, which will become part of the museum… We plan to build there a cave of ancient people with a grotto, a clearing for film screenings, a children’s play area and swings.”
Let us remind you that recently numerous unique ancient artifacts have been found during archaeological excavations in Krasnoyarsk. For example, on Karl Marx Street, objects were discovered from which the city began – a section of the defensive system of a fort with a moat, an earthen rampart and the base of a wooden wall. According to the governor of the region, Mikhail Kotyukov, after the restoration is completed, a pavilion will appear under a glass dome, where everyone will be able to see how our city was born.
This facility will also become part of the preparations for the 400th anniversary of Krasnoyarsk.
