The names of the winners of the first cycle of the competition for Andrei Melnichenko’s personal scholarship in the 2025/26 academic year have become known.
Based on the results of the selection process, which took place until October 31, 2025, 170 students received support. This number became a record, exceeding the previous cycles by 10%.
This growth demonstrates the growing interest of students in the program and indicates the high level of preparation of applicants.
Students from the Krasnoyarsk Territory showed striking results in the first cycle of the current academic year. 58 winners have been identified here, 53 of whom study in educational institutions that train personnel for the fuel and energy complex of the region, in particular for the enterprises of SGC and SUEK-Krasnoyarsk: at the Minusinsk Agricultural College, the Nazarovsky Energy Construction College, the V.P. Astafiev Mining College, the Kansk Polytechnic College, the Krasnoyarsk Industrial and Metallurgical College and Siberian Federal University.
“This is not the first time our students have entered the competition to receive Andrei Melnichenko’s personalized scholarship. In this cycle, we submitted 36 applications, and we are very pleased that 31 students from our technical school were among the winners,” says Natalya Koksharova, deputy director for academic affairs at the Nazarovsky Energy Construction College. “This is an incentive for others, as well as motivation for the scholarship holder to continue to show good performance, participate in various competitions, defend projects, so that next year there will be something to submit for the next competition. In addition, students receiving a personal scholarship already feel involved in the companies with which they are going to connect their future – these are SGK and SUEK-Krasnoyarsk. And, of course, this is excellent financial support.”
The monthly payment will range from 5,000 to 25,000 rubles.
“I am very happy about the victory,” shares his impressions of a second-year student in the specialty “Technical Operation and Maintenance of Electrical and Electromechanical Equipment” at the Nazarov Energy Construction College, Artur Musurgaliev. — This is another confirmation of the right direction. I want to further develop in my direction, undergo an internship and connect my career with the Nazarovsky open-pit mine.”
For those who are just planning to apply or did not have time to do so in the first cycle, a new opportunity will soon appear. The competition is held on a general basis, and participation in it is open to all students. The key requirement for academic performance is that there should be no more than two “good” grades in a semester, all others should be “excellent”.
First-year students can also qualify for financial support, but starting from the second semester of study.
The second cycle of accepting applications for Andrey Melnichenko’s personal scholarship will take place from February 2 to March 6, 2026. The winners will be announced on March 31st.
