The social-democratic leaders have decided in Monday to return to coalition discussions, but will only participate in discussions about the second package of fiscal measures, support sources for HotNews. Thus, the PSD is attending the coalition meeting today, the first to take place after almost three weeks.
The PSD leaders discussed for about an hour about the return to the coalition sessions, in which the Social Democrats have not participated, since the beginning of the month, following the dissatisfaction with the fact that the USR criticized the decree of the national mourning day following the death of former President Ion Iliescu.
Another dissatisfaction of the social-democrats was related to the fact that, following the USR in government, several prefect and sub-prefect functions must be renegotiated. “I do not want to go back to talk about functions today,” Grindeanu said today at the end of the party meeting.
Also today, from 5.30 pm, a meeting of the leaders of the Coalition in the Government is scheduled. It is the first meeting of the coalition from the beginning of August, and the main subject of discussion is related to the final form of the package of fiscal measures, for which this week would follow, the prime minister to commit his responsibility.
What are PSD discontents
Asked Monday morning, before the meeting, about the measures that there was no consensus between the parties so far, the PSD chief said that, in addition to the clarifications he needs for the fiscal measures and those aimed at the administration, “a package to eliminate the privileges”.
He claimed that the non -participation of the PSD at the coalition meetings did not lead to the postponement of the responsibility on the second package of measures, because it would have returned to the decision if it was about taking a package to eliminate the privileges.
In addition, Grindeanu says that it is expected that Monday, at the Coalition meeting, the Minister of Finance, Alexandru Nazare, will be present, to “present the fiscal measures that will be part of the second package, to discuss the sea and to see the financing of the investments and if we refer to large investment objectives or to the small ones”.

Subsequently, after announcing the party's decision to return to meetings, Grindeanu said that, on Sunday evening, when he talked to Prime Minister Bolojan, asked to invite Alexandru Nazare to the Coalition meeting.
The PSD leader said that he agreed with the new form of the Insolvency Law, with the proposals from the Ministry of Health led by the Social Democrat Alexandru Rogobete or with the measures related to multinationals.
“We announced a week ago, we agree with the whole package of elimination of privileges, with everything it contains. We agree with the new form of the Insolvency Law. We agree with the proposals coming from our Minister of Health.
Prime Minister Bolojan is about to go, most likely on Wednesday or Thursday, in Parliament to hire liability on the second package of tax measures meant to reduce the budget deficit, according to HotNews sources.
