In Krasnoyarsk, the court found a 42-year-old drug addict guilty of causing death by negligence of his roommate and punished with enforcement.
Everything happened in October 2024 in one of the rooms of the dormitory along the Street Zheleznodorozhniki. It was established that at the request of a 28-year-old girl, a man made her a drug injection, but the dose was too large. As a result, she died from acute poisoning with a prohibited substance and cerebral edema.
The father of the deceased turned to the prosecutor’s office, reported the circumstances of her death and the negative impact from the cohabitant.
“It turned out that before the girl was always in business, she worked, studied until she met her future roommate with 20 years of experience in drug use. He had long suffered from immunodeficiency and other incurable diseases, he was judged, ”the supervisory department said.
The prosecutor initiated the initiation of a criminal case under part 1 of Article 109 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation, the maximum punishment of which is up to 2 years in prison.
The man explained the following: “I understood that she could die, but she herself asked.”
The court sentenced him to 1 year of compulsory work with a deduction of 10 % of earnings in state revenue. Also, a man is obliged to pay the family a girl of 500 thousand rubles of non -pecuniary damage.
