The Minister of the Environment, Diana Buzoianu, spoke on B1 TV on Thursday about the effects of Romania's economic situation and the measures to reduce the budget deficit on the programs in the sector, but claim that “solutions” will be found for these programs to be carried out, for example, with European funds.
Diana Buzoianu said that the current economic situation is “absolutely terrible”. “They were lost and money will be lost from strategic investments in Romania, because there is simply no money,” she said.
The Minister of the Environment argues that the launch of the Rabla program for natural persons this year with a budget of 200 million lei “it was not the easiest possible, but we make this effort because we know that investments have been made, we know that there has been an advance for these cars.”
“Then, on the other programs, unfortunately, this year they will not be able to be supported, but I would like to draw attention – for the Rabla program, we are currently in question with the Ministry of European Funds as on the social fund for the climate, which is a fund that will be multiannual, of 6 billion euros, in Romania, given in the coming years, this fund is in the Fund. Rabla, ”said Diana Buzoianu.
She explained that, thus, the program will no longer depend on “the national budget, economic crises or other aspects”.
“The same for the Green House. For the Green House, today (…), we will not have launched the program from AFM, but in this year we will have a program can be even wider from the repowereu by the Ministry of European Funds, so we take money from European funds and support the same programs.
What did he say about Chinese producers
The Minister of the Environment considers that “methods including these programs should not be taken to the industry, especially for China producers, should be identified.”
Asked if the target is to reduce the entrance of cars from China on the Romanian market, Diana Buzoianu replied: “It is one of the targets. From my point of view, the Rabla programs should focus especially on cars produced at least in Europe, but in no case in China.”
“As well as for photovoltaic, it is very clear to everyone that from there programs and products come from China, so we will have, in one form or another, to have a structure to bring, to encourage production in Europe,” concluded Minister Diana Buzoianu.
