In the Krasnoyarsk Territory, a criminal case was opened on fraud in the execution of a municipal contract, the regional investigative department of the IC of the Russian Federation said.
According to investigators, in July 2023, the Bogotol administration hired a commercial organization to carry out work on demolition of resettled emergency houses. The contractor for more than 5.5 million rubles had to dismantle houses, and then remove and dispose of construction garbage.
The houses were demolished, but garbage did not actually clean. Despite this, the contractor provided the customer with a report on the work and an agreement with a third -party organization, which supposedly had to dispose of waste. Money was received in full.
On this fact, a criminal case of fraud on an especially large scale was opened (part 4 of article 159). The exact amount of the damage caused to municipal formation will be established during the investigation.
Currently, investigative actions are carried out aimed at establishing all the circumstances of the crime. During the investigation of the criminal case, a legal assessment will be given the actions of officials of the administration of the city of Bogotol.
