In the Knurów-Szczygłowice mine, the Knurów movement belonging to the JSW, there was no contact with one of the miners. A rescue operation is underway – JSW informed in a press release.


“In the Knurów -Szczygłowice mine, the Knurów movement took place. There were 9 miners in the area covered by the incident. The accident occurred yesterday at 21.26 in the ancestor of 32a at the level of 850 meters. During the drilling of the ancestor, the miner was shocked,” JSW press office said.
As reported, 8 ancestor employees withdrew on their own, with one of the miners there is no contact.
“The management of the mine immediately decided to start a rescue operation. Currently, 7 rescue hosts are involved in the action” – he added. (PAP Biznes)
