The operation of these services, as pointed out by the head of the Ministry of National Defense, manifests itself in the growing number of attempts to cross the border illegally. Almost 300 such attempts have been thwarted during the last day. The minister emphasized that groups of migrants, from a dozen to several dozen people, show more and more brutality, using, among others stones, branches or grinders for cutting dams.
The head of the Ministry of National Defense clearly pointed out that the pressure on the border is the result consciously organized operation by the Belarusian and Russian regimes. In his opinion, it is about the deliberate weakening of Poland and Europe. At the same time, he pointed out that help in illegally crossing the border is contrary to the law and should not be granted.
The minister also emphasized the importance of informing migrants about the consequences of their actions. Poland has long not accepted asylum applications submitted as a result of the illegal crossing of the borderwhich will also be communicated on the international arena.

Strengthening the border
In the context of the information campaign announced by Prime Minister Donald Tusk in seven migrant origin countries, Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz emphasized that it would differ from the actions of the previous government. He recalled examples of modernization of border infrastructure and a new military strategy. In his opinion, the border with Belarus is now better protected thanks to the steel dam and modern electronic systems, achieving an effectiveness of 98 percent.
Meanwhile, Tomasz Siemoniak, head of the Ministry of Interior and Administration, and spokesman for the ministry Jacek Dobrzyński informed about the intensive activities of the Border Guard, supported by approx. 11,000 officers and soldiers. Poland cooperates with the countries of the Region and the European Union in this matter.

Introduced by the government The regulation, limiting the right to submit applications for international protection, entered into force on March 27 and is to apply for 60 days with the possibility of extension. The Ministry of the Interior and Administration also announces the maintenance of buffer zones at the border, which currently covers nearly 80 km of its length.
