In Krasnoyarsk, the man will appear before the trial for the murder of his wife 24 years ago. This was reported in the regional prosecutor's office.
In February 2001, a married couple from Krasnoyarsk went to visit friends, where a quarrel broke out between them to drink alcohol between them. After a verbal skirmish, the wife was the first to leave the apartment, and her 26-year-old husband left two minutes later. Returning to his friends in half an hour, the man was surprised to ask if his wife returned, and then he was actively looking for her all night. The next morning, he even applied to the police with a statement about the loss.
It turned out that the woman died. Her lifeless body with numerous injuries was found two months later. It was not possible to establish the culprit and the criminal case was suspended. Later, in the framework of work on the investigation of crimes of past years with the coordinating role of the prosecutor's office, the case materials were studied again.
“It turned out that that fatal evening the accused caught up with his wife at the garages on Vodopyanov Street, struck the head, and when she fell, he continued to beat her feet. After making sure that his wife was unconscious, he left and did not tell anyone about his deed, ”the press service of the supervisory department said.
The next 24 years, the man lived as an ordinary life: he re -married and built his career. When law enforcement officers presented irrefutable evidence, he confessed to a crime.
The prosecutor's office approved him of the murder (part 1 of article 105 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation). The criminal case will be considered by the Soviet District Court of Krasnoyarsk.
