The Permanent Electoral Authority published on May 21, 2025 new information about George Simion's campaign, the presidential gold candidate. In the second round, that is, in just two weeks, the amount spent was 27.9 million lei, writes the investment site snoop.ro.

Realitatea Plus received the highest amount for promotion on television, 15.05 million lei (3 million euros), the money being received through DBV Media House, a company controlled by the Păcuraru family.

In the new reporting of the Permanent Electoral Authority (AEP), DGI Multimedia Design, the house company for online contracts, also appears. Through it, 3.2 million lei were paid for the promotion of George Simion.

Hirschkorn Verlag und Media SRL, which belongs to Claudiu Catargiu, was used for online political advertising and received 350,000 lei.

According to sources in the advertising market, consulted by Hotnews, 3 million euros is the TV advertising budget of a large category company on the private market in Romania.
