In the Krasnoyarsk Territory, a check is carried out on the fact of the death of two people as a result of carbon monoxide poisoning.
The investigation department of the investigation committee said that the bodies of a 61-year-old woman and her 38-year-old son with signs of carbon monoxide poisoning were found in a private house located along the school of School village of Novokamala, Rybinsky district. On this fact, a procedural check began.
Investigators explained that the bodies found the neighbors of the dead on the morning of August 11. They came to the house to find out where the woman and her son disappeared, whom they had not seen for 4 days. In the house, they found the bodies of the owners. In the room there were traces of Gary and smoke.
When examining the scene, the investigators found a cigarette butt. According to the preliminary version of the investigation, the woman threw an unbridled cigarette on the floor, as a result of which things were ignited. During the occurrence of a fire, the residents of the house slept.
Currently, verification measures are being held aimed at establishing all the circumstances of the incident. Based on the results of the audit, a procedural decision will be made.
