Deputies want to ban mat on the Internet

Deputies propose blocking all the content with obscenities on the Internet. The corresponding bill appeared on the State Duma website on August 11.
Amendments to the article Federal Law “On Information, Information Technologies and the Protection of Information” will allow Block materials on Internet resources for the use of obsceneity. The author of the initiative was the deputy chairman of the State Duma Committee on Inform Policy Andrei Svintsov.
According to him, the need for such a law is caused by the fact that the mat, which is not disguised in the video on popular hosting or in the content of bloggers, is increasingly moving into everyday speech, which is especially common among young people.
Andrey Svintsov I conducted an analogy with television and radio, where obscene vocabulary is mandatory drowned out by a sound signal. He explained that after the adoption of the law, the creators of the content will have to mask independently or delete the mat in order to avoid blocking.
The explanatory note to the bill clarifies that the fragrant abuse means “four well -known words starting on“ x ”,“ p ”,“ e ”,“ b ”, as well as words and expressions formed from them, according to the official explanations of Roskomnadzor.
