Lilies are already preparing to bloom, and now is the time to help them open in all its glory! The “Favorite Dacha” channel on dzen.ru (16+) is divided by two simple procedures that will extend flowering and give a powerful increase in bulbs.
Procedure 1: top dressing for strength and beauty
Lilies in June are watered generously, but the soil between irrigation should dry out. This is important for strong stems and juicy buds. But frequent watering is washed out by nutrients from the ground, so you can not do without fertilizers.
Do two top dressing:
1. Use complex fertilizers, for example, from “Fermatics” or “Agricoli”. You can take nitroammofoska or azophoska (2 tbsp. Spoons per 10 liters of water) or Kalimagnesia (15 g per 10 l).
2. Alternate the compositions so as not to make the same thing. A good alternative is a green nettle fertilizer.
Important: do not rash fertilizers in dry form – it does not work for bulbous ones. Dilute in water and water on moist soil. If you want to dilute a lot of lilies, in June, feed them once a month, adding manure, humus or azophoska. A variety of nutrients is the key to abundant flowering and strong “children”.
Procedure 2: Disease Protection
June rains – paradise for fungi and rot, which can ditch lilies. To prevent this from happening, prevention is needed.
What to use:
1. Plants:
Dilute to pale pink and spill the soil.
2. Fitosporin – M:
The biological product, but, according to reviews, in 2025 its effect is weak.
3. Maxim:
Chemical fungicide with a powerful preventive and therapeutic effect.
Pour the soil every 10 – 14 days, especially if the weather is raw.
Before feeding, loosen the soil and remove weeds – this is how the food will better reach the roots. Do not divide the bulbs in June – this is done in the fall, after mid -September. Water lilies in the morning or in the evening so that the water does not evaporate in the sun.
