Krasnoyarsk residents are waiting for the weekend snowy and cool weather.

And the cunning merchant Kolyvan seemed to be waiting for this: having recruited villains from Baba Yaga’s henchmen as his assistants, he attacked the principality and did many bad things. But not everything is Maslenitsa for the cat. The heroes go to the aid of the Prince, the city and the faithful Horse Julius.

On New Year's Eve, a letter from the past sends Vaso from Tbilisi to Krasnoyarsk in search of an adult daughter he did not know about. At the airport, he finds a company of the same lost souls, with whom he will have to go through disappointments and difficult decisions in order to witness a real miracle on New Year's Eve.

This is not a dramatization of the famous fairy tale by Hoffmann and not a ballet by Tchaikovsky at all, but a modern fantasy about how events could develop in the house where the girl Marie lives with her mother and father, where her godfather brings a funny toy, and mice are hidden in holes and are waiting in the wings.

The music for the performance was written by composer Yuri Korotkikh. The production is being worked on by: director Marina Malkovich, choreographer Gabriel Arma, artist Zhanna Semenyuk. Artists of the Krasnoyarsk Musical Theater and real children – students of the children's choreographic studio “Flick-Flyak” under the direction of Andrei Brylyakov – will play in dreams.
