A 20-year-old girl from Craiova sent a message of thanks for a road policeman from Sebeș, who saved her from the area of a beach on Crete, according to the Alba County Police Inspectorate (IPJ).

IPJ Alba says the thanks message was transmitted to the institution's e-mail address.

“Today, on a beach on the island of Crete, in Greece, I lived the most frightening moments of my life. I was taken by the waves and led at sea, at a point where I could no longer swim and I felt that I crashed. I raised my hands desperately, asking for help, and around me, no one,

The young woman said she was rescued by a road policeman named David Bogdan.

“At that moment criticism, in which no one did anything and the time seemed to be in place, a man left everything, ran away from the beach and swimmed with all the strength. He caught me, calmed me down and safely took me to the shore. There, the end could have been a tragic one ”, wrote in the message.

She said she would always be grateful.

“I will never be able to reward him for the courage, determination and humanity he has shown.
