China does not want the end of invasion of Ukraine. The expert pointed to Taiwan

Beijing tries to maintain neutrality in the face of Russian invasion of Ukraine. Although China has not condemned Moscow's actions, they call for “a peaceful resolution of the conflict and respect for the sovereignty of all countries.” As part of these activities, the Middle Kingdom proposed a 12-point peace plan and readiness for mediation between the parties to the conflict. However, nothing came of it. At the same time, China blames the West, mainly NATO and the USA.

“The Chinese pursue their own interests, but I think that a fair, peaceful solution and end of hostilities are more in line with Beijing's interests than that the great, endless earthquake for the whole world order” – said the then Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Andrij Melnyk in 2023.
