US envoys Steve Witkoff and Jared Kushner informed the Ukrainian delegation during the talks in Miami about the details of their meeting with Vladimir Putin, as well as about new ideas aimed at bringing the parties' positions closer together, Axios reported on Friday.

The website, citing American and Ukrainian officials, reported that the U.S. and Ukrainian delegations continued talks in Miami on Friday about the peace plan. Negotiations are also to be held on Saturday.
On Thursday evening, the head of the Ukrainian National Security and Defense Council (NSDC), Rustem Umerov, and the chief of the General Staff, General Andriy Hnatov, met with Witkoff and Kushner. The meeting lasted two hours, and talks resumed on Friday morning.
Witkoff and Kushner informed the Ukrainians in detail about their Tuesday meeting with Putin and about new ideas for rapprochement of the parties' positions, the source said.
A U.S. official said Thursday's talks were “positive.”
The website noted that the American authorities still believe that it is possible to reach a compromise between Ukraine and Russia even on the most sensitive issue, which is the issue of territory.
