Norilsk City Court sentenced the former deputy head of the office inspections department No. 2 of the Interdistrict IFTS of Russia No. 25 in the Krasnoyarsk Territory. The woman was found guilty of the commission of 10 crimes, including the receipt of bribes and abuse of authority.
According to the court, the official took money from entrepreneurs for reducing tax obligations and general protection. The amount of remuneration varied from 50 to 150 thousand rubles. In this way, a woman illegally received 1.45 million rubles from businessmen. She was sentenced to 5 years in prison in a penal colony of general regime.
Also, the ex-employee of the tax will be obliged to pay a fine of 10 million rubles and within 3 years will not be able to hold positions in the public service related to the implementation of organizational and administrative functions and administrative and economic authority.
The united press service of the vessels of the Krasnoyarsk Territory added that the money received as bribes is to be confiscated. The sentence has not yet entered into legal force.
