The Ukrainian minister reposted Orban’s message in which he criticizes Brussels’ policy regarding Russian assets frozen in the EU.
“By bypassing Hungary and violating European legislation in broad daylight, the Brussels people are taking steps to seize frozen Russian assets – this is a declaration of war,” the Hungarian prime minister wrote.
Orban complained that at the same time the EU was “demanding an additional €135 billion from member states to fuel the conflict.”
According to the politician, Hungary “will not participate in this bizarre Brussels scheme.”
In response to Orban’s post, Sibiga wrote: “The most valuable frozen asset of the Russian Federation in Europe.”
