Weekly end with 36 degrees Celsius and accentuated thermal discomfort. Where torrential rains and rods are announced

On Sunday, August 3, the weather warms up most of the country, and in the south and southwest the heat is reinstated. The temperatures will climb up to 35–36 degrees Celsius, while the thermal discomfort will be accentuated, the temperature-humidity index exceeding the critical threshold of 80 units, informs meteorologists from the National Meteorological Administration.

In Bucharest there will be clear sky and heat. The maximum will reach 35 degrees in the shade, and in the evening it will bring a tropical night, with temperatures that will not descend below 20 degrees Celsius.

In Dobrogea and Bărăgan, the weather stays beautiful, with a lot of sun and rising temperatures compared to Saturday. In Bărăgan, 34 degrees will be recorded. On the coast, the atmosphere remains pleasant, with 31 degrees and about 23 degrees in the sea water.

In Oltenia and southern Muntenia, the temperatures reach the threshold of the heat. In the hill and mountain areas of Oltenia, short -term rains are possible, but in the rest of the region the sun dominates.

In southern Moldova and northern Muntenia, the weather is sunny, with maximums of 33 degrees. In contrast, in the north of Moldova and in Bukovina, the clouds appear from time to time, being possible local rains accompanied by electric shocks. The maximums will stop at more bearable values, of no more than 29 degrees.

In Transylvania, the morning will be cool in eastern depressions (27-28 degrees), but after lunch the temperatures will climb to 31 degrees in the west of the region. The afternoon and evening bring atmospheric instability, with possible rains, hail and strong wind.

In the west of the country and in Maramureș, the weather will be generally beautiful, with 30-33 degrees Celsius, but in the evening torrential rains and vijellas are expected. In the Banat area, the wind will intensify during the showers.

In the mountain, the sun will dominate in the first part of the day, but in the afternoon there are hinders, especially in the north of the Eastern Carpathians, the Banat Mountains and the Western Southern.

Sunday night to Monday will bring accentuated thermal instability in the western and northwest of Romania, where torrential rains, electric shocks and wind intensifications are expected.
