A fire broke out on Sunday afternoon at a passenger wagon, in Plopeni Station, in Prahova county, writes news.ro. The first data on the spot show that about 40 people evacuated from the train, without registered victims.
“The fire manifests itself at a train passenger wagon traveling on the Slănic-Ploieşti route. About 40 people have been saved from the train. Until now, no victims have been reported,” informs the Inspectorate for Emergency Situations (ISU) Prahova.
At the place of the fire, the military firefighters from the Plopeni work point act, with the support of the Băicoi intervention guard, with two extinguishing vehicles.
A SMURD ambulance was also sent to Plopeni.
Until the time of transmitting this news, the causes of fire broke out are not known.
