The White House councilors scheduled a telephone conversation between the US President Donald Trump and his former Ally Elon Musk on Friday, after the huge public quarrel with sharp replicas on both sides and threats, the Political Publication reported.

The telephone conversation reported by Politico could alleviate the disputes after the hostilities of the last 24 hours between Trump and Musk, carried out largely on social networks, which marked the end of a tight alliance.

Musk funded much of Trump's presidential campaign and was then brought as one of the most visible advisers of the president, leading a broad and controversial effort to reduce federal labor and to reduce expenses.

The attacks broke out on Thursday after Trump criticized Musk in the Oval Bureau, and the two then had a hard exchange of replies on their social media platforms: Trump and X's Social Truth.

The misunderstandings began to appear a few days ago, when Musk, who left his head of the Department for government efficiency (Doge) a week ago, denounced Trump's draft law on reducing taxes and expenses.

Initially, Trump kept silent, while Musk was campaigning to block the project, arguing that he would add too much to the national debt, which amounts to 36.2 trillion.

Trump broke the silence on Thursday, telling journalists that he is “very disappointed” by Musk. “Look, Elon and I had an excellent relationship. I don't know if it would be that way,” Trump said.

While Trump was talking, Musk replied real -time on X. “Without me, Trump would have lost the elections,” wrote Musk, who spent nearly $ 300 million to support Trump and other Republicans in last year's elections.

Conflict has climbed quickly: the billionaire claimed that Trump's name appears in the “Epstein file” and that it should be charged, and the US president threatened to leave Musk's companies without government contracts.
