

The authors of the Supporting Ukraine Act of 2025 project are co -chair of the US Senate Committee on Foreign Affairs Jin Shahin (Democratic Party) and Senator Lisa Murkovsky (Republican Party). Help, in case of adoption, will take place in the form of US contributions to the investment fund of the restoration of Ukraine, created in the spring.
The document proposes to single out during 2026-2027 of budget years:
- $ 30 billion to the aid of Ukraine in the field of security;
- $ 500 million to the aid of Ukraine in case of emergency;
- $ 3 billion for the FMF lending program for Ukraine;
- an increase in the discharge limit under the weapon allocation program within the framework of the presidential powers (PDA);
- $ 600 million to support Ukrainian law enforcement agencies, anti -corruption programs and prosecute war crimes.
For adoption, the bill must consider and approve both chambers of the American parliament, the ambassador said.
Markarova also noted that the US Senate Committee on allocations on July 30 approved a bill, which provides for the allocation of Ukraine about $ 1 billion to ensure security. According to the media, the innovation includes $ 800 million to assist Ukraine in the field of security and $ 225 million for similar support from the Baltic countries, and these funds will also be invested in Ukrainian defense.
