MegaFon and the Russian Football Union extended the partnership agreement. As in previous years, the mobile operator will be a telecom partner of the Russian national team, and will also become an active participant in the joint-joint activity of football in the country with the RFU.
The first partnership agreement between the parties was concluded back in 2010. After that, Megaphone became the official telecom partner of the Russian national football team and continues to stay.
The new agreement was signed today at the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum – 2025. The document is valid until the end of 2028 and provides for the expanded cooperation of Megafon and the RFU in programs and projects for the development of domestic football.
In addition to cooperation with the national team, MegaFon has been organizing the All-Russian Football Championship among teams of orphanages and boarding schools “The future depends on you” for 20 years. During this time, more than 41 thousand children took part in the tournament. Traditionally, the tournament is actively supported by famous athletes, Olympic champions, regional authorities, as well as the Russian Football Union. In December 2024, the project received the title of winner of the International Prize “#Mephla – 2024” in the nomination “Responsible Business”.

I am sure that joint initiatives will allow you to attract even more young people to sports, support the development of youth teams and contribute to the formation of a healthy lifestyle among the population. In addition, our interaction will be an example of an effective combination of business efforts and sports organizations in order to achieve common goals, ”said Khachatur Pubukhchan, Director General of MegaFon.
