Dave Macqueen arrived in Brasov in 2020, after seven seasons in Dornbirner, in the powerful Ebel league. The Canadian technician obtained in the five years spent at Corona three champion titles, in seasons 2020-21, 2022-23, 2023-24, two cups of Romania, in 2021 and 2024, and a trophy in Erste Liga, in season 2023-24.

Also, under his leadership, Corona Brașov was the first team in Romania that qualified in the third round of the Continental Cup, in the current format. Dave Macqueen is, last year, the coach of the Romanian national, who had a very good evolution at the last participation in the World Championship, managing to defeat Hungary, South Korea and Japan, so he kept the team in Division 1A.

Over two weeks, Dave Macqueen will again have the mission to try to keep the national team in the same value group. This time, he will have to face the UK, Italy, Poland, Japan and Ukraine.

We wish him much success at the World Championship, as well as on the road he will choose. It was a pride in working with a professional and we are glad that we have been with us all these years“, The club said.
